My All-Time Favorite!, 27 June 2003

This film, together with its three sequels, is the best adult movie I've ever watched. (Part 2 is my personal favorite.) It actually has a plot, and the erotic sequences are credible within the context of the film. This is not just a lot of people having sex.

In addition, it features some of the best acting ever in an erotically-oriented movie. Raven, in particular, is devastatingly effective in her role. Taija Rae, too, is very emotionally convincing, although Gloria Leonard seems just a little unsure what effect she is trying to achieve.

Erotically, this film pushes all kinds of buttons beyond just the obvious (incest) theme. Definitely worth your while if you like something more than just disconnected sex scenes (though it sizzles in that respect also).

Genuinely a good adult film, 14 April 2005

Alright, Gloria Leonard is pretty miscast -- although middle-aged name porn actresses were thin on the ground in 1985 -- but otherwise this was one of the rare XXX flicks with a genuine plot, legitimately believable characters and dialogue, and respectable acting performances.

Raven is downright rapacious (and *why* did she feel the need to succumb to insanely fake looking boob jobs down the road?), while Paul Thomas' typical somber woodenness fits for a change in his role of a suburban professional father in well over his head. And 'tis a pity Taija Rae was born a few years too early: what with the occasional acceptance of X-stars in the legit film world, she could have had a crossover career, because she was a decent actress. I wonder what ever did happen to her?

Great Adult Film, 3 March 2000

I don't usually watch "porn" films, but my friend had bought this one ten years ago, and I decided to watch it. Though the film is fairly explicit, I think that it should be watched by others because this "porn" film actually has a real plot.
