Sex & Nudity

  • A man and a woman kiss
  • An inconspicuous reference to menstrual cycles
  • In the movie, there's a scene where George has exited the shower and is all wet with the camera cropped above his waist. Ursula uses an album to cover the front and a bowl to cover the back giving a glimpse of George's behind. V-abs/side are exposed to George's exit. A friend makes a comment about George being "king of the jungle"
  • Threat of castration
  • George's buttocks can be seen for a brief second; Not as explicit as people would imagine it to be.
  • George sensually licks Ursula's cheek whilst she is unconscious.

Violence & Gore

  • Lyle tries to bluff his way at George who rushes forward to stop the poachers and Lyle then shoots him (thinking he's got a cigarette lighter gun and not a real one). We hear the shot and later see George with a slightly blooded bandage on his head.
  • A lot of slapstick violence with George violently crashing into trees. Also, a lot of punching scenes. George gets punched, and punches people a lot.
  • A woman says to George that she will "Remove the reason why he is wearing a loincloth"

Profanity

  • You snotty son of a and darn is used
  • Says ass a couple times
  • 2 uses of ass and god 1 use of oh god, oh my god and shut up

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Lyle offers cigars to several porters, and lights them for the men and himself, and later is seen with another cigar.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Rated K in Greece for mild action & some nudity.
  • There's a brief scene where Ursula encounters a lion, and George then swings in and fights with the lion. Very young kids may find this to be a little tense, but it quickly turns into comedy as George tickles the lion and then throws him around the jungle as if they were both professional wrestlers.
  • Lyle swings a rope bridge back and forth and a porter falls from it toward the river several hundred feet below. The narrator, however, quickly chimes in, "Don't worry, no one dies in this story, they just get really big boo-boos" and the porter is later seen and appears to be okay, just with wounds and bandages.
  • There is also some crude humor.
