- A man chops his right hand off in order to rescue his daughter after she is kidnapped by a triad leader. However, when looked at closely, the viewers can note that the details aren't overly graphic (since it reveals how fake the hand is), although it is nonetheless still disturbing. No blood had came out of the hand, however.
- There are some fist fights throughout the movie.
- There are some characters who have been shot by other characters with firearms.
- Some characters slap each other across the face.

- The main antagonist of the movie slaps one of the protagonists' girlfriend across the face as he demands answers to where her boyfriend is located. As she refuses, he slaps her across the face one more time before tying her entire body with a net and kicked her off a ship. Afterwards, he and his followers use large wooden planks to beat her to death before the protagonist arrives.
- As the main protagonist, Chicken Feet, arrives to rescue his girlfriend from the hands of the main antagonist, he gets into a brief fight with some gang members before eventually being outnumbered, although he eventually escapes, but not before getting blinded by the antagonist who smashes his eyes with a long glass cylinder. Some blood is seen on the protagonist's eyes later.
- One of the protagonists, Shou Jie, ends up getting shot to death by Yang's men at the end of the movie. This may be emotional for some.
