Trivia:

Director Frank LaLoggia asked his friend Richard Jay Silverthorn, who portrayed the adult Lucifer in Fear No Evil (1981), to create a mask that Frankie would use that was "representative of Bela Lugosi's guise in Dracula (1931)". Compare that mask at 05:50 with the statuette of Count Dracula at 49:48. Unfortunately, this connection is lost on most viewers who, immediately on seeing it, think the mask is of Richard Nixon.

Goofs:

Continuity: (at around 46 mins) Geno has lost his left shoe running through wet concrete to reach Frankie, but at 10:17 his shoe is back on his left foot without his having an opportunity to retrieve it (he is always either on camera or Frankie is looking up at him).

This is a beautiful ghost story, nothing terrible about it!

I saw this movie when I was only seven or so and have loved it ever since. Perhaps it is not has high tech as other movies but it has really wonderful elements. The execution of this film is wonderful. As opposed to the last comment on this movie, I have to disagree. I think an open mind is needed to fully appreciate older films. If you do not feel that something from the eighties and older is worthy of your time this probably is not the movie for you. If you do love a good ghost story, try this one on for size. It isn't a scary movie, relatively mild with very little violence and no blood. It is creative and really heart warming.
