Originally 2nd half in first airing,"continued" episodes in re-runs): Fonzie,after being called "normal" by a woman he's dating,is re-uniting with his old gang and they're confronted by rival gang "The Warmongers" at Arnolds to settle an old score. Meanwhile, Joanie is avoiding Chachi after discovering he had spent time with a girl at the lake while she was working there that evening. Lori Beth has revealed to everyone that,on her last visit to Richie in Greenland,has become pregnant with their 1st baby. Howard,learning that he's going to be a "grand-father" becomes depressed about getting older. The whole storyline of "Home Movies" is based around the idea of getting older or maturing. In the case of Chachi's immaturity,Lori Beth's pregnancy and how it affects Howard and most of all,Fonzie coming to terms with the fact he's not the "rebel" he used to be.

Angered by a television broadcast of a Black man being beaten at a lunch counter for just wanting a meal, Al convinces Fonzie to head south to march in a weekend civil-rights demonstration, and it's not long before they both find out firsthand what's at stake for the Black community.

Joanie starts spending much of her time with insecure new friend Mikki, who has recently come to Milwaukee to get a fresh start. A jealous Jenny learns that rumors had abounded at Mikki's old college that she had gotten pregnant and starts spreading the word. It isn't long before it is suggested that Fonzie is the father.
