Tennessee Ernie Ford, trumpeter Al Hirt and movie producer Ross Hunter join Andy. Ernie and Andy recall the old-time political debates in the town square. Andy and Ross show clips from their current motion picture, "I'd Rather Be Rich".
It's an all-song evening for Andy and his guests, actress Shirley Booth and singers Johnny Mathis and Morgana King. Shirley does numbers from "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" and "By the Beautiful Sea," Broadway musicals she has appeared in.
Julie Andrews and comedian Bill Cosby are the guests. Andy Williams shows film clips from "The Americanization of Emily," which co-stars Julie. In return, she tries to make a proper Britisher out of Andy.
