Below average semi-documentary about Feria De Campo , including some silly sketches
ma-cortes21 July 2018
This results to be a special documentary about IV Feria del Campo , adding some sketches , too . It deals with Rosa : Pilar Cansino , and German : J. Garcia and the always likeable Jose Isbert go to the Casa De Campo , Madrid , representing their town . There they meet a varied group of characters , such as the reporter Jose Luis Lopez Vazquez , the Asturian Enrique Avila , the sympathetic waiter Tony Leblanc and many others .

The picture is a simple and plain exhibition of shows taking place at Field Fair at Madrid with a brief plot behind . This Fair was built as a small town with configured pavilions ericted accord to regional style . It is set at the Casa de Campo in which took place contests to attend the various Spanish provinces and some South American countries , showing samples of the best products , livestock , regional articles , provincial provisions , ceramics ; as well as bringing chores and dances , including Sardanas , Jotas , Asturian dancing , Flamenco and other Autonomian chants . At the same time , there is shown the peculiar architectural in each province , including detailed reproductions , such as Door Bisagra of Toledo , Asturian Horreo or Carmen Door of Zaragoza . The Fair exhibiting to the visitors the rural atmosphere and capturing the rustic style with their Folklore , culinary and while the countrymen dressed in their characteristic garments from their own regions. The picture benefits itself from the enjoyable presence Jose Isbert , he is well accompanied by a large secondary cast , such as : Jose Luis Lopez Vazquez , Tony Leblanc , Enrique Avila , Goyo Lebrero , Rafael Hernandez , Sanchez Polack : Tip along with Top , and many others .

The movie has a lousy cinematography by Antonio Macasoli , being really necessary a perfect remastering because of the film copy is washed-out .The motion picture was middlingly directed by Rafael J Salvia . He was a prolific writer who directed a few films . He wrote about 60 movies , many of them along with notorious writers as Vicente Coello , Pedro Maso and Antonio Vich . As Salvia wrote : El Judas , Siempre es domingo , La familia y...uno mas , Atraco a las 3 , Sor Citroen . He directed 16 films , his debut was Concierto magico , following El Portico de la Gloria and Vuelo 971 ; outstanding with the successful Manolo Guardia urbano with Manolo Moran , and Las chicas de la Cruz Roja with Concha Velasco . He made sketches comedy , such as : Dias de Feria , Festival de Benidorm , and La Cesta . After that , he directed biographic movies as Isidro el Labrador , Dulcinea , Proceso a una estrella with Rocio Jurado and a documentary : Goya. Dias de Feria rating : 4 .
