Three episodes from TV's Ramar of the Jungle series were released as a feature movie. The first two episodes seem more connected than the last episode (the third completely changes course, although it takes place in India, as do the first two). If you liked the Ramar series, you'll certainly enjoy seeing these three episodes put together this way. Interestingly, in the first two, Ramar is not the know-all, do-all hero that we expect. That role is filled by an elderly character called "Guru" (& mispronounced, but hey, it wasn't until the mid-1960s that most of us even heard of a "guru," thanks to The Beatles' involvement with one). As with many of the shows in this series, there's some great stock footage of jungle animals, & the jungle soundtrack (animal sounds) is great. Robert Shayne has a significant role while taking time off from his regular job as Inspector Henderson in the "Superman" series. I rate it 6/10.
