After a failed college football career, Marcus Newman finds himself hanging in limbo between who he once was and who he wants to become. Shortly upon moving to DC, Marcus finds writing very difficult as he hates his daytime job. With the deceiving lure of social media depicting his friends living fruitful lives, he finds his own mindset under siege. With his clogged mind, unfulfilling job and pilling bills, Marcus has an out of the blue run in with a near death elderly woman. What seemed to be a tale of a good gesture gone bad, turns into a blessing in disguise.
