British filmmaker Jacob Perlmutter, captures the wide bohemian allure of the city from the tobacco backstreets to the jazz pounding saloon bars. The film features friends from the band Bombay Bicycle Club, re-triggering the historical music scenes, which play a large part of the city's lyrical pulse beating charm. The film pays homage to the opening scene of Woody Allen's 1979 iconic film, Manhattan- through the eyes of a female poet.
