The lives of Swifty and PB, couriers for the Arctic Delivery Service, and that of Jade, a brilliant but clumsy mechanic, serenely play out amidst the usual daily hitches and contingencies. But the three friends are unaware that something is about to change. In the course of what seems to be a day like all the others, the Puffins under the command of the walrus Otto, find the ancient figurine of an idol and in the process inadvertently activate its arcane and murky powers: after a series of strange atmospheric phenomena, the figurine breaks and the pieces are scattered. Meanwhile, an eccentric stranger makes his way into town: he is the archeologistadventurer "Adventure Goat," who, while searching for the figurine, is surprised by a howling blizzard. Rescued and saved by none other than Swifty and PB, Adventure Goat, in this manner, brusquely enters the life of our heroes, entering however, into conflict with Swifty, who, jealous of all the attention that Jade is lavishing on the newcomer, tries to equal him and even compete with him in all ways possible. Meanwhile, pieces of the idol find their way among the inhabitants of Taigasville, passing from hand to hand and unleashing their positive and/or negative magical effects, more often than not with sensationally unpredictable results. To prevent the figurine from reaching the wrong hands, Swifty, Jade and PB, with some help from the Shaman Anuk, decide to join forces with Adventure Goat to recover the pieces and once more pack together the Idol's incredible powers. What they don't know is that Otto, who has also discovered the secret, intends to appropriate the immense power and will do everything within his means to lay his hands on the figurine.
