Knut Brekken and Denby Gromdahl, amateur filmmakers, see the annual film festival as an opportunity to prove something to the world, in particular to their arch rival Koert Vonckers who's announcing his departure from the neighborhood. Together with their friends Kenny and Esteban, Knut en Denby craft their masterpiece and take it to the festival.
