Ram lives with his grandfather who is a retired army office and falls in love with Madhu who is the daughter of a rich corrupt politician. Madhu's father is totally against this alliance and prevents Ram meeting Madhu and even tells Madhu to stop seeing Ram but she does not listen. The politician then starts harassing the grandfather who goes back home to Punjab. Ram also decides to live with his grandfather and comes to see Madhu for the last time but sees he uncle dead and gets accused of the murder and Ram goes on the run. Now Ram is on the run from Madhu's father and the police. His grandfather comes back to help him and assures the police he will get Ram to surrender but things don't go as planned.
