With the background information we got, this episode was supposed to air for season 6 but was later on canceled and shuffled to as a season 7 episode. My thoughts on the Coltons spin off is dire. I think they never should even thought about making that kind of spin off, they were just small time guest stars of MacGyver and I think this episode is the weakest episode of all MacGyver, nice attempt though. Also one of the Colton actors passed away the next or same year so I assume the idea was scrapped away fast. This episode really straightens away from how serious the show was but they made it a slapstick comedy instead.
