The plot premise was okay. It could have been a good show, but it managed to fail at almost every level. First, the editing was a complete failure. The pace of the show was way too slow. The essential elements of the show could have been revealed in 3 hours, not eight episodes.
The acting by some was fine. I was okay with Betsy Brant, but pretty much the rest of the cast was plagued by over-acting and melodrama, which tells me it is a directorial and writer problem more than an acting problem.
The production values were at a Lifetime level of quality. It was just bad all the way around. If it fails at acting, direction, production, editing and writing, it is a failure across the board.
