This was a pretty humorous episode that showcases a talented guest actress,Liz Torres. She portrays a psychic mind-reader/fortune-teller 'Madame Rita',who has seemingly amazing results when working with or for the wacky Harper family. Mama and family hire the delightfully funny Madame Rita for a psychic seance at the Harper house. Madame Rita goes into a ridiculously exaggerated 'trance' and 'returns' as a 'gateway to the unknown'. Several family secrets seem to be known by the psychic,which is surprising and convinces Mama Thelma that the psychic just may be for-real.
Soon after the psychic piques everyone's interest,she suddenly comes out of the trance and collects her $20 fee.
Naturally,Thelma wants the psychic to return for another session. At the next session, Mama Thelma continues to ask questions about her deceased husband and gets some more interesting replies. Is the wacky Madame Rita for-real? Watch and see for some good laughs!
