Can you feel the love?

Warning: Spoilers
I was a kid in the 90s/00s in Canada. Kreviazuk and Maida were some of the best artists on the radio and became vague "relationship goals". Of course, you never really know what the reality of another relationship is like. "I'm Going to Break Your Heart" gives us a rare window into that reality. It takes the film coming full circle back to the therapist's couch at the end to see that this great love is not at all broken. Even in a life as charmed as theirs would appear, there are hurts to puzzle through. Kreviazuk's insecurity is repeatedly triggered when she comes up against Maida's harshness. But he loves her creativity and she loves his steadiness. A good reminded that we love our partners for the same reasons they make our lives difficult. Like other viewers, I felt they were very relatable. Seeing the song writing process was interesting. Overall as a Canadiana love story this film delivered.
