I decided to see this movie because Hilary Duff was on it and it ended up being a classic (but not bad) old romantic movie. I prefer a thousand times a story like this, with its twists and an interesting plot, over current ones like The Kissing Booth.
What I didn't really like was Lenny's demise. I would have liked an ending where he also found love, perhaps with the guy at the restaurant or with one of the pastry makers. I don't know, I felt sorry for the scene where he returns the box with the ring. He was really excited that things would work out and it didn't work out.
In the end, is an orchid really better than another type of flower if what counts is the gesture?
