The story is captivating from the beginning to the end. It left me in doubt about the reason for the last scene (Anna's gift) and I had to read other reviews to understand that it was proof that she was alive (and that's how John manages to get out of jail).
If this type of mechanism for reading minds existed, it would be totally revolutionary in the field of psychology.
Also, a simply wonderful ending. What remains in my doubt is whether Anna escaped because of her family, because they made her experience atrocities as a child, or if it was all her invention. And also the reason why she didn't eat. Didn't she eat so that some psychologist could come and do all this tricking?
