Terrible.

A 2 is generous. This movie is so badly acted, I'm starting to understand why Jasper from Twilight didn't have very many lines. All of the acting from all of the characters was terrible. When she FaceTimes her family at the end when she is free, the reactions from her family are completely ridiculous, they act like it's more of a "heyyy where have you been haha" ( which I think the sister might actually say something along those lines??!! Whilst Chelsea has blood and cuts all over her face?!) vibe more than any actual concern or deep emotion to having found out their daughter/sister is safe. The wounds look so obviously fake and completely unrealistic. When one of the girls is getting stabbed, it looks like it's with one of those gag knives that retracts in when pressure is applied. The wig the character Chelsea wears when she has "bleached her hair" is so obviously a wig it's insane. It was between staring at my wall for an hour and a half or watching this movie and I can't believe I chose the movie. At the start when she starts crying about the rat!!? Wtf is that about, she cried more about the rat leaving than her being taken in the first place. I don't know if the director was trying to portray her going insane and socialisation deprived from being down there for so long and that's why the whole rat scene happens which would make more sense??? It gives no real idea of how long she was in 'the hole' and if it was just for as long as we saw, why was she crying over a rat after just being kidnapped. I could point out so many more ridiculous parts of the movie but this review would be extremely long.
