Chuck is a very fun show to watch and also entertainment for the whole family. The first couple of seasons are peak TV and have that loveable charm that make you go uhm and want to hug everyone.
The acting is great, the characters are great, and the music choices are just brilliant.
What brings the show down is that the storytelling is not on point. At the start of the show everything is so charming and lovely you do not really mind, but as the seasons go on it start to bother. The writing, storytelling and directing goes down a few percentages with each season and things start to go from charming, to you rolling your eyes at what is going on.
The show also tries to do a lot of things. It tries to be funny, charming, exciting, action-y, it wants to be dramatic, deep and even scary at times. It does not matter how great the actors are and how lovely show you have, when you try to do all, you will fail at some.
My 7/10 is for the show as a whole, the first two seasons are better. But even as the show falter somewhat, it is still watchable and you can definitely do a lot worse. I can fully understand why so many love this show, it deserves that love. I fully recommend, and this is a watch for everyone.
