This has to be the most terrifying drama you'll ever watch. It's the kind of thing to give you nightmares.
It has a terrible sense of complacency and foreboding. It's brilliantly written and acted. 5 stars. The very first image of the spiders web sets the tone and introduces the theme of the story.
The series sets out a plausible account of how a crisis escalates while for most people ordinary life goes on with it to begin with being more a minor annoyance than a major worry.
The film on a low budget does a fine job of capturing much of the horror and despair that would no doubt follow any such war like the one portrayed in the show. In trying to take the story though on another 12 years or so it starts to wonder more into speculation. Still though a very powerful and important drama.
