That was the question I had in my mind, while watching this episode. From where I was sitting, there really was no funny part. The episode starts off with Carl questioning Eddie on "what he wants to do with his life." Not only was this completely unfunny, but kind of annoying as well. Nobody likes being "put on the spot." It's not much more fun to watch someone else being put on the spot. Carl winds up trying to convince Eddie to become a police officer. Eddie backs out of the "ride along" he had agreed to. Of course, Carl winds up taking Steve along, instead. Many predictable, not-so-funny things happen. Steve and Carl on the freight train, included. Absolutely no interaction between Steve and Laura in this episode. We only get Steve telling Carl that he's always loved Laura. Carl already knew that, and so did everyone else! Ultimately, this episode is a misfire. Spare me the vulgar, unfunny jokes. Give me Steve and Laura!!
