As a Norwegian, this was embarrassing to watch. Really bad Norwegian language. In fact, I don't think there were any authentic Norwegians with a speaking role at all.
The Santa Lucia singing show was actually really bad. Why not just dub the song so that I actually sounded like Norwegian? Beats me. But I pulled through it actually. Watched the entire movie hoping it got better.
Northern lights in Bergen is really, really rare. And when it is there, it's really soft and dim. You can hardly see it. But in this movie, it was theatrically strong and vivid lights. Not realistic to watch at all.
