One of those mostly forgotten movies they don't do this days anymore - The Spikes Gang is a kind of road and coming of age movie about some kids getting under the wings of an old outlaw. Director Richard Fleischer made some good movies in his career, Soylent Green (starring Charlton Heston) maybe the best and best known one. The Spikes Gang is a solid Western movie in that late 60s and 70s style and will provide a fine ride to the right kind of audience. Not a masterpiece but one of those Western movies that got you invested in the characters and provides more than just some stylish made bum bum.
