A couple of goons try to rob an Army truck filled with M-16 rifles and get thwarted. They manage to kill one of the soldiers also as the truck flees.
Next we see that a museum has the cape of King Kamehameha stolen (again). This time it is some hang-gliders who think it would be fun to do. One of the clowns from the bungled Army hold-up witnesses them bring the cape back to the local hang-gliding store as he stalks the female who works there. So they try to recruit/blackmail them into helping break into a military depot via the roof. Laughable, yes.
All I could think about while watching was a Monty Python episode where a local thug tries to blackmail an English army base by basically saying it would be a shame if 'something were to happen' to the base if they didn't pay 'protection' money. Seems about as far-fetched as robbing a military armory but what the heck.
