I remember the evening of November the 4th 1979 very well. I was in the sixth grade at the time and it was the night that Jaws premiered on network television. I had a friend in the third grade who had saw it in a theatre and raved about it so I was looking forward to seeing it. I envy anyone who gets to experience Jaws for the first time. It is the most thrilling experience imaginable. I really enjoyed these deleted scenes and I remember one that featured the great Robert Shaw whistling a tune and upsetting this little kid. Shaw was one of the most under rated actors of all time. To me the most chilling part of Jaws wasn't any of the attacks but it was the haunting USS Indianapolis monologue he delivered.
