Cobra is assembled when The UK Government learns about the possibility of a Solar storm causing massive disruption. Prime Minister Robert Sutherland and his chief of staff Anna Marshall try to keep unity in a divided cabinet.
What an interesting start, I decided not to watch this at the time, but I was keen to have a look, largely based on the cast. The likes of Robert Carlyle and Victoria Hamilton are very good, but it's the actual story that's perhaps the best aspect.
It's a high energy start, there's definitely enough going on to hold your attention. It contains some pretty good special effects, and it does give you an unsettling idea about ....what could be.
I think people were aware of Cobra's existence pre Covid, but many didn't really know what it did, I think during Covid however, we all came to know what its purpose is.
It's a good start.
