John Boyega is Fontaine, a drug dealer doing his rounds. He visits Slick Charles (Jamie Foxx) to collect and is soon afterwards shot to death. Slick and one of his sex workers, Yo-Yo (Teyonia Paris) are therefore surprised the next day to see Fontaine alive and well. The unlikely threesome investigate this and other strange occurrences in the neighbourhood, leading to vast government conspiracy.
Glorious mixture of fun sci-fi and hilarious blaxploitation banter - Foxx and Paris are a terrific fun double act and Kiefer Sutherland strong as ever as the assured baddie, whilst Boyega proves yet again what a fine lead actor he is. Funny and quite charming in its way with a clever last 20 minutes. Well worth catching.
