Let me start by saying that this movie was very fun to watch. An entertaining story and delightful characters. Yes, I'm aware that the story is likely not true, but that did not stop it from leaving a smile on my face, touching my heart with inspiration, and craving some spicy snacks.
There were many parts and jokes throughout the movie that came off as cheesy (no pun intended) and cliche. The jokes may have landed with some, but to me, the writers were trying very hard to throw some humor in our face.
There was nothing ground-breaking about this film, but if you take the movie as what it is - a light-hearted inspirational comedy - then you can quickly look past the flaws and be entertained by what is a solid story.
