Former male stripper Mike Lane, who lost his furniture business during the COVID-19 pandemic, is now in his forties, still in Miami and a bartender for a catering company. At Maxandra "Max" Mendoza's fundraising event, Mike is recognized by Kim, a lawyer for Max's foundation. Afterward, Mike is asked to speak with Max privately and then the Magic is supposed to begin. Unfortunately, I only saw some magic in the opening scene and at the end of the movie. Am not saying it is a bad movie, liked the movie a lot but just saying there was no Magic Mike. There was just Mike and a bunch of good dancers and performers. Guess my expectations were too high. However, the latter is not preventing me from giving this movie a Magic thumbs up! Not bad, just different.
