IRL: In Real Love (2023– )
1/10
Disappointing Show about Fake Love
12 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
When I saw the trailer of IRL, my expectation grew as I thought this might be having similar elements of the shows like 'The Circle' or 'Love is Blind', where the contestants establish a relationship based on feelings and trust.

Since its based out of India, i thought this show will do better than them and Boy oh boy this show is such a disappointment. First of all, there is no such concept of real love in the show. Contestants stay in a room which is decorated to reflect them and they have an app to chat, but it looks fake as ever.

The contestants meetup so many people to date and no one is bothered to ask anything practical like 'what do you do for living or do you have a job'. Instead they straight-away ask some lame questions like 'what kind of connection are you looking for?' or 'which is your fav. Book' or make sex jokes. Also, all the people are so shallow in their thoughts and go for physical looks only. Conversations are boring as they are mostly brain dead or sex jokes and there is no meaningful love.

Finally the fakeness and the boring scenes will make you sleep.. If you are looking for a show where you want to remove your brain and bore you to sleep this is it!!
