Well, here we are ---- full serialization mode. It is tricky to provide a quality episode review when you only have a piece of the puzzle --- instead I will highlight some of my insights from this 3 episode arc and provide a score.

  • I enjoyed the plot of Ezri going into the badlands to save Worf. It is in keeping with the Dax symbionts history and it is sweet. Nice touch by Sisko to let her do it with a half hearted slap on the wrist admonishment.

  • Dukat is a clear front runner for most deliciously despicable character in trek history. Although, it is somewhat therapeutic to watch Winn (the manipulator) be completely played by another. It's no revelation to discover that Winn is not a believer and was using the bajoran religion as a sword to gain power.

  • Damar is a bit late to the galactic resistance party --- but --- better late than never. Must have been quite the revelation to realize your society is completely doomed.

  • Sisko and Cassidy are getting married against the will of the prophets. Well, well --- what is going to happen when you go against MOM.

All episodes were well acted and the plot moved along briskly. Nothing moved me but I was engaged.
