Each year, Angela has a tryst with a guy who is a desert photographer in New Mexico. She calls Brennan and tells her that he has disappeared and may be dead. She and Booth join her and when a skull is inspected, it turns out she was right. But now we have a cultural thing where there are white people and Native Americans at odds (oh really?). There is a taciturn sheriff who is slow to turn over authority to the gang. But his sister is the guide and she is missing. What transpires is a rather tedious effort to find her. There is also some supernatural stuff going on that ends up turning me off. Not up to the usual quality.
