A remake of the Spanish film Julia's Eyes, Blurr is the story of twin sisters Gayatri and Gautami, both played by Tapasee Pannu. When Gautami, who is visually impaired is found murdered in her remote home in the hills, Gayatri- her twin who is also struggling with her eyesight, takes it upon herself to unravel the mystery behind her sisters death and prove to everyone that it is not a suicide, but a cold blooded murder.
Tapasee Pannu deserves a lot of praise for playing a visually impaired protagonist who is trying hard against all odds to find her sisters killer. She gives a stellar performance as always. Gulshan Devaiah as her husband also delivers a good performance.
The dark ambience, misty mountains and gloomy locales add to the feeling of suspense and horror as the film progresses,leading to a decently delivered climax.
Worth a dekho for ardent afficianado's of the horror- thriller genre . Go for it , you won't be disappointed!!
