When a weather girl is found murdered, Castle and Becket delve into the personnel and relationship at the TV station where she worked. The mystery is a good one, replete with the series' penchant for red-herring wrong suspects to begin, and moving on to later clues as the episode moves on.
When Castle is interviewed by a hot station personality who asks him for a date while they're still on the air, he decides to accept in order to help the cover for he and Becket's new "closer" relationship. When the lady in question springs the fact that the "date' is confined to her apartment, complications arise, as Castle does NOT want to consummate THAT relationship.
] But ... something he hears on the date helps solve the murder. Unfortunately, the viewer doesn't get that fact at the same time Castle does, leading to a surprise ending.
