This re-make is not as hilarious as the almost great original movie "Quo vado?" from twenty sixteen. But it is pretty solid. Instead of stealing the scenes from that movie it just takes the plot-points and the general idea, filling the blanks with new material.
The cinematography is pedestrian and does not offer anything new. The fast-cut sequence is made a bit awkward and misses the correct rhythm.
The chief of the tribe is played by a an obvious frenchman. And since he says gibberish anyway and is an episodic role they could have used a real native of whatever place they have tried to portray.
