The positives: Chris McNally, DOGS!, Brittney Bristowe. All of these make the movie worth watching. Chris and Brittney have good chemistry and Indie the dog was Absolutely so adorable! She won over my heart! And Indie's backstory broke my heart, but it was happy when she found a new owner in Chris's character!
Now the bad/ negatives: the antagonist: she was actually annoying to the point it was cringe inducing. The "oh I'm tired of active duty, so instead I'll just tell the military I want a desk job" easy way out. I'm so sick of this. The military does not bend to you, you bend to them. The pacing was also super slow. And while I said Chris and Britney had good chemistry, it's under-used here because of the material they are working with.
I really wanted to love this plot but the script was just a mess. I'm glad I saw it, because there are some cute moments, but I won't need to watch it again and again. Indie the dog I will say makes this a watch it once movie though!
