While watching Scott Abramovitch's "Eat Wheaties!", I could relate to Tony Hale's character a bit, what with his social awkwardness and tendency to fixate on things. But beyond that, the movie offers a warning about what things will become like if social media and celebrity obsession end up dominating our lives to the point where we can't concentrate.
It's not a great movie, but I get the feeling that this sort of thing has happened. It's getting to the point where we need classes teaching people how NOT to do this (or at the very least, parents need to keep their children away from screens).
In the end, I recommend the movie. In addition to Tony Hale, Paul Walter Hauser, Danielle Brooks and Elisha Cuthbert, the cast includes Alan Tudyk (a voice artist), Rizwan Manji (Ray on "Schitt's Creek") and Mimi Kennedy (Marjorie on "Mom").
