I remember seeing Players on the small screen all those years ago. It was intriguing seeing so many mega stars of the tennis court make cameos as themselves. So who were the tennis stars that appeared as themselves you may ask. Good question. You had appearing as themselves Guillermo Vilas. John McEnroe, Ilie Nastase, John McEnroe, Ilie Nastase, Tom Gullikson, John Lloyd (who later married Chris Evert who herself later married golfing great Greg Norman), Vijay Amritraj (who starred in a James Bond movie in the 80s, Octopussy which was set in India), John Alexander (who later became a member of parliament in Australia)
