Fred takes an extra job at a department store the week before Christmas to make extra money for presents. He has degrees of success but of course finds his real calling playing the store Santa. He does so well the real Santa calls on him to take his place delivering presents around the world. In the mean time can't get his own family and friends their presents . Turns out the real one helps Fred out.
