Bones: The Bump in the Road (2012)
Season 7, Episode 8
7/10
A pretty solid episode

Warning: Spoilers
This is a pretty solid episode following the birth episode that we had last week. The topic of extreme couponing was probably a relevant storyline what with popular tv shows coming out about extreme couponing.

The Finn, Michelle, Cam storyline was interesting. I thought that Finn and Michelle seemed cute together, though I thought their flirting in the lab was super cheesy - "they haven't made a camera to capture how beautiful you are" - like that is such a lame line. I did like the vibe between Finn and Michelle, however. Cam, on the other hand, was getting on my nerves. I felt like Cam was just taking this to a new extreme. She was reacting as if Michelle told her that she was interested in dating Hodgins or something, someone who would be inappropriate for Michelle to be in a relationship with. We already know that Finn is around 20 years old and Michelle is around 18/19, so this is not a bad pairing. Then, Cam being rude to Finn about not reconstructing the skull, that was just ridiculous. I did appreciate Finn's bluntness to ask if it was about him and Michelle. I was happy to see that Cam had changed her mind at the end of the episode. But, I did cringe a little when Finn and Michelle kissed for much longer than necessary/appropriate around Cam.

We also got to see Bones and Booth as parents! It was so cute seeing baby Cristine and I think this helped to soften Bones a little bit. Seeing her miss her daughter and even cry a bit at the end of the episode helped show the audience that Bones is a really good mom.

Best Part: Bones and Booth with Cristine at the beginning and end of the episode

Worst Part: The NASTY dead sneeze.
