It Is Blatant In Your Face Corruption With No Moral Decency. A Disgrace To The Memory Of Victims Of Crime!

Warning: Spoilers
I was not in the least bit surprised when I came across this documentary and its subject matter. In fact, I just said to myself it is what I expect of Thailand; after all, its one of the most corrupt places on our planet. Ever since my childhood days when I used to read up/learn about places whose Martial Arts interested me greatly, I heard nothing but bad about the daily system of corruption. The police are so lowly paid that the corruption in their ranks is astronomical out of control (especially in the tourist season against foreigners...you buy your way out of trouble/prison etc)but it is no excuse when you also learn that it is rife amongst officials.

I suspect this Prison Fight system is the basis of many action films that have been made on the exact same subject matter. And I believe the director of each of Thailand's prisons are making vast amounts of money from this disgraceful practice. The parents in this film get no justice from the system when the man who killed their son, is given his freedom after serving only 5 years of an 11 year sentence!

I give it 5 stars only for the insight into the background and also the narration from of Ron Pearlman. Its an insight into yet another human failure but nothing of award winning production status.
