The set was like a parkour stage for Jackie Chan, the bizarre layout of the club made sense once he started to move around. I was hoping the movie would have moved on from that set but clearly it was designed wholly for every scene in the movie. It was like a compact set for it's purpose and that was off-putting plus it was annoying with all the obscured camera angles early in the movie that seamed to be for no reason at all. It started to bother me when I noticed it. But got used to it. But beyond getting bored with the set, the plot got worn thin toward the end and at the end I just lost interest in seeing the final moment play out and just stopped watching it, I just couldn't care less how it ends. It went from a decent action/drama to "here we go again...and again...and again". If they cut 20 minutes from this it would have been better and I'd have likely finished watching it.
