You tell this was made because strangers things was popular. However is pretty enjoyable. Interesting story and nicely shot and characters somewhat interesting.
There's no point for it been set in the 1980's as they don't even try to match the aesthetic of the time. It's so werid that they have these openly leabian couples when it was very homophobic in the 1980's. I keep forgetting it's not set now...make more sense if it was and they'd have to change almost nothing.
