I wanted to like this, I generally enjoy shows set in Ireland. The main character is just not very believable as a brainy retired professor, with her literary references, and is just not very likeable. The sidekicks add a little humor and interest, but not enough.
We gave it a fair try, watched the 1st 4 episodes, and don't think we'll continue watching.
As a side note, I couldn't help but notice it seems a clone of the Lucy Lawless show, "My Life is Murder", but not as well done or as funny. I'll stick with that show in the future.
