Funny but hasn't aged well

A Richard Pryor stand-up comedy concert filmed in Long Beach, California in 1979.

Richard Pryor was a trailblazer in the comedy business with irreverent takes on this and generally pushing the envelope in terms what you can get away with. This concert captures some of that and has some great takes on things and hilarious moments.

However, it also feels a bit forced, like he's getting laughs for the crudeness and shock value of some of his language. This was probably quite revolutionary and unique in 1979 but nowadays it's par for the course: comedians throw in heaps of swearwords and dirty language without drawing attention to it or making it the punchline.

So, while funny many parts don't quite hit the spot.
