. . . in six nesting boxes, each wrapped in glittering fabulous gilt paper, it does NOT make it into a silk purse! The first half of PARADE OF THE AWARD NOMINEES has nothing to do with the nominees. Mickey Mouse was NOT nominated for anything in 1932, yet he fritters away half of this show with one of those hackneyed stock characters parades which would later mesmerize a pathetic base of core supporters to beg, borrow and steal every spare penny to gamble away for elusive happiness at Dizzy Land and Dizzy World.
