Bull: False Positive (2022)
Season 6, Episode 9

Confused and concerned (sigh)

Warning: Spoilers
The court case is an interesting one but not really the main story of interest to longtime viewers. Dr. Bull finally gets it when it comes to making Marissa happy (OMG!) and she agrees to stay but then changes her mind. My take: Her word is worth nothing anymore. I mean, Bull was blindsided. This must mark the end of their friendship. If not, I don't see myself watching future episodes. If they are nothing but competitors moving forward I am not really interested in that. Overall it feels like forced conflict and I don't buy it. If Marissa never floated the idea of changing the name of TAC before making any decision then she can't reasonably expect Bull to know she wants her name in the company name.

It was bad enough to lose Cable's character in an awkward way. I thought that was the beginning of the end. As we have seen with other TV crime dramas, playing musical chairs with main characters hurts the series. NCIS had the best team the first two seasons. The same can be said with Criminal Minds as Jason Gideon was special. Law & Order: Criminal Intent was always best with Goren and Eames.
