(A Milestone) they called this show? How can any reviewer state this show was a milestone in TV broadcasting, I just do not know how can you state 'If you watch an episode, you can see the cast were making fun of him' The show was designed around a rascist and racism, in order for white folk to poke fun and laugh at hard-working decent folk of colour; let's get it straight..! Have you ever suffered from racism? It's people like 'Alf Garnet" the world can live without!!! Not to promote and continue series after series without any regards to the his ardent followers, that take things literally and instigate racism...

Racism was everywhere, and shows like these instigated prejudice and racism, in all walks of life.. So-do-not think It is OK to broadcast such piffle as good TV.. Good riddance to bad rubbish and Long May It Never Return..👍🏼👍🏿 To see multicultural people (at long last) on British TV nowadays, is a wonderful and Great thing to see..😊 We live In a multicultural society, although there are still those ignorant, naive and bigoted people who campaign for "Black Folk" Not to appear on Christmas advertisements...Can you Imagine that..??? 🤔 What do you think about that in todays World.. Why not Speak About that, rather than defending such a despicable programme under any light and circumstance..!!! Racism is still Alive and Kickin'. The ending of these type of shows.. (Was The Milestone) They should never have be made, nor, should they ever see the light of day again.!!! The Better off we all are for It..!!!
